College Sports Madness Names Michael Salazar Big West Player Of The Week

Riverside, CA—College Sports Madness announced today that UC Riverside forward Michael Salazar is the Madness Big West Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played from August 25-31.
On Friday, August 29, the junior became the first member of the Highlanders during the program's Division I-era to score three goals in a single match when he connected three times in UC Riverside's season-opener against Pacific (box score/recap/video recap). Salazar added an assist for a total of seven points on the night to establish another program, Division I-era benchmark.
The Big West named Salazar its Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Monday (story).
