Box Score Riverside, CA- The UC Riverside Women's Basketball Team picked up its second conference victory of the season Thursday evening, getting 29 points from Brittany Crain in an 89-74 victory over visiting UC Santa Barbara.
The Highlanders trailed 7-1 in the early going, but scored 27 of the next 33 points to take a lead they would never relinquish. They increased that lead to as many as 23 points early in the second half, and although the Gauchos cut the lead to single digits late in the game, UC Riverside withstood the late rally to secure the 15-point win.

She now boasts 11 games this season with 20 or more points, and has a 28 game streak of double-figure points. Late in the game, Crain moved past Cassandra Reeves (1,383 points) into fifth place on UC Riverside's all-time scoring list, and she now has 1,388 for her career.
