San Luis Obispo, CA—The UC Riverside Volleyball Team got 37 assists and 10 digs from Chelsea Doyle and 14 kills, 11 digs from Mickayla Sherman in a 3-0 loss at Cal Poly Friday night.
Doyle notched her ninth double-double of the season in a performance where she posted her second-highest assist total in three sets of play. In the first match of the season she had 38 in a 3-0 sweep of Southern Utah.
For Sherman, it was her fourth double-double of the season, the second in her last three matches.
Meg Graham chipped in seven kills from her middle blocker position on 14 swings with just one error for a team-leading .429 hitting percentage for the match.
The Highlanders will make the short trip to UC Santa Barbara for match-up with the Gauchos—a team they knocked off 3-1 in their first meeting of the season.
