Berkeley, CA—The UC Riverside Men's Basketball Team scored the first 10 points of the game Friday evening, and never trailed, as they toppled Pac-12 foe Cal on the road, 74-66.

In addition to their game-opening run, the Highlanders went on a 14-2 run late in the first, as they turned a 26-15 lead into a 40-17 advantage
GAME NOTES
Alex Larsson recorded the second double-double of his career, recording career highs in points (15) and rebounds (13).
Dikymbe Martin grabbed a career-high 12 boards, which smashed his previous high of five. He also handed out a career-high seven assists, and recorded his first double-double adding 12 points.
Chance Murray just missed out on a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.
Ryker Pierce, Dominick Pickett and Idy Diallo all made their UC Riverside debuts, scoring nine, five and four points, respectively.
