Orem, UT—The UC Riverside Men's Basketball Team had three players score 20 or more points Thursday evening, including Chance Murray (25) and Alex Larsson (20), each of whom recorded career highs. It wasn't enough, however as Utah Valley escaped with a 90-82 victory.

Utah Valley scored the first eight points of the game, and led by as many as 21 in the first half. The Highlanders still trailed by 16, 75-59, with 9:02 to go in the game, but they went on a 15-3 run to slice the lead to four. That was as close as they would get however, as the Wolverines held on for the eight-point win.
GAME NOTES
Utah Valley made 16 three-pointers on the night, which tied the Highlanders' record for most made three-pointers by a UC Riverside opponent (November 20, 2010 at SMU). The Wolverines made 13 of those threes in the first half.
This marks the first time that the Highlanders have had three players score 20 or more points in a game in the program's Division I history—Chance Murray (25), Alex Larsson (20), Dikymbe Martin (20).
Chance Murray also recorded a career-high seven assists.
The Highlanders made 55.71 percent of their shots from the field, which is the highest percentage for the team this season. The last time UC Riverside made more than 55.71 percent of its shots was on November 14, 2015, when the Highlanders made 55.73 percent of their shots vs. William Jessup.
UC Riverside's 10 turnovers tied a season low set in the team's previous game vs. UC Merced on December 22.
