Riverside—Dikymbe Martin scored a season-high 22 points, and Menno Dijkstra recorded his first career double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds) as the UC Riverside Men's Basketball Team (3-6) snapped a four-game losing skid with a 67-48 victory over visiting Air Force (5-5).

With the game tied at 26, the Highlanders scored the final eight points of the first half, and the first three points of the second half, holding the Falcons without a point for nearly eight-and-a-half minutes. Air Force wouldn't get closer than nine the rest of the way.

Dikymbe Martin made his first five shots from the field, including three from long distance on his way to a season-high 22 points. He now has three 20-point scoring efforts in his career.
Martin's four three-pointers are the most for a member of the Highlanders this season. The rest of the team went three for 19 from long distance. The last time some body made more three-pointers in a game for the Highlanders was Jaylen Bland in the 2015-16 season. That year, Bland had a high of seven made threes on January 16 at CSUN.
Menno Dijkstra grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds en route to his first career double-double (12 points).
The last time the Highlanders beat a Division I opponent by more than 19 points, was in a 20-point win over Grand Canyon on December 31, 2016.
When Alex Larsson lined up for the tip, he was credited with the 98th start of his career, setting a new program record.
UC Riverside out shot Air Force 53.2 percent to 30.4 percent. That marks the seventh time in nine games this season that Highlanders have out shot their opposition from the field.
