Highlanders Roadtrip Concludes At #22 Kansas On Sunday

Game Notes - UCR at #22 Kansas
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team is set to play at #22 Kansas on Sunday at 11:00 AM PST, their fourth straight opponent that is either ranked or receiving votes in the AP and USA Today national polls. The Jayhawks are also the fifth of six teams the Highlanders have faced that are ranked. Live Stats
KU is off to a 7-2 start and and averaging 75.8 points per game, while outscoring its opponents by 13.2 points an outing. Senior guard-forward Danielle McCray is leading the way with 19.1 points and 6.6 boards a game.
UCR is currently on a three-game losing steak after falling 69-46 to Oklahoma State on Dec. 17, their longest such steak since a four-game skid from Dec. 14-28, 2008. Senior Marissa Rivera (pictured) leads a quartet of Highlanders in double-figure scoring with 13.0 ppg.
