(Riverside, CA) - The UC Riverside women's tennis team (1-2, 0-1) fell 7-0 to #65 UC Irvine in Big West Conference action on Wednesday afternoon at the UCR Student Recreation Center Tennis Complex in Riverside, CA.
After dropping all three doubles matches, the Highlanders looked to get back into the match with the singles competition, but the Anteaters proved too dominant as UCI took all six singles matches. Nadia Sakhakorn (Saugus, CA) at the No. 3 spot kept her match close, but fell 6-3, 6-4.
UCR returns to the courts on Saturday, Feb. 14 as they travel to Bakersfield to take on the Roadrunners at 2:00 pm.
