Men's Basketball Prepares For ESPNU Bracket Buster, San Jose State

UC Riverside takes its final break from Big West Conference play this season to travel to San Jose State of the WAC as part of ESPNU’s BracketBuster.
This is just the fourth meeting between the teams, the last of which came on December 30, 2000 in a 51-50 Spartans win at San Jose State. The Spartans have won all three prior meetings between the teams.
Although the programs haven’t faced off against one another in eight years, they do have one significant tie between them - UCR Athletics Director Stan Morrison was the head coach for the Spartans from 1989-98.
