Highlanders Fall 7-0 to #49 UNLV

Las Vegas, NV - Playing their third match in as many days, the UC Riverside women's tennis team battled against a tough UNLV team, but fell 7-0 to the No. 49 ranked Lady Rebels.
After dropping the doubles point, the Highlanders (3-4) needed to win four of six singles matches to take home the victory, but UNLV proved their national ranking by winning all six matches. Donna McCullough (Fremont, CA) was on the verge of sending her match into the third frame at the second singles spot , but came up just short, falling 6-3, 7-5.
UCR returns to the courts in a Big West Conference match up against Long Beach State on Friday, Feb. 27 at 2:00 pm in Long Beach, CA.
