Highlanders Bested 6-1 by #72 Cal Poly

Riverside, CA - Playing their second match is as many days, the UC Riverside women's tennis team (3-6, 0-3) was bested 6-1 by No. 72 Cal Poly at the SRC Tennis Complex on Saturday morning in Big West Conference action.

After losing the doubles point, UCR looked to rally in the singles matches, but could only claim one victory as Nadia Sakhakorn defeated Maria Malec 6-2, 7-6 at the third spot.

UCR makes up their rain-postponed match with Occidental on Sunday, March 1 at 10:00 am at the SRC Tennis Complex.
