Santa Barbara, CA - Playing their second Big West Conference match in as many days, the UC Riverside men's tennis team (3-7, 0-2) was bested 6-1 by No. 62 UC Santa Barbara on Sunday afternoon.
The Highlanders kept things close in the doubles matches but failed to tally a point. Looking to regroup in the singles matches, UCR needed to win four of six contests to pick up the win, but Austin Andres' 6-2, 6-4 victory at the fifth position was the only Highlander point on the day.
UCR hosts Boston College on Wednesday, Mar. 4 at 2:00 pm at the SRC Tennis Complex in Riverside.
