Highlanders Host Big West Conference Championships On Saturday, Oct. 31

For the second time in as many years, and for the fifth time since the Highlanders joined the Big West Conference in 2001, UC Riverside's Ag/Ops Course will play host to the Big West Cross Country Championships on October 31 with the men's race beginning at 9 am PT.
A year ago, the Highlanders tied their best-ever conference finish taking third for the second straight season behind an All-Conference performance by Michael Buell (pictured). Chad Hall, in his first year of collegiate cross country competition, finished just outside the top ten in 2008 with an 11th place finish.
Tickets are just $5 for fans ages six and above; Big West students with ID and fans ages five and below are free. For more information please visit the Big West Championship page.
