UCR Women's Tennis Concludes Cal State Fullerton Tournament Sunday

Fullerton, CA - The UC Riverside women's tennis team concluded play at the Cal State Fullerton Tennis Tournament on Sunday with the third and fourth round of consolation singles action.
In the third round, Angelique Corpuz and Jamie Raney both advanced to the fourth round due to default wins over opponents from CSU Bakersfield and Cal State Northridge respectively.
Natalie McKay lost a hard-fought 6-7, 6-3, (10-7) match in the third round to Cal State Fullerton's Megan Sandford to conclude the tournament.
In the fourth round, Corpuz lost to Portland State's Marti Pellicano 6-1, 1-6, (10-4), and Raney was handed a 6-4, 4-1 ret. inj. loss from CSF's Sandford.
The Highlanders next head to the ITA West Regional beginning on Oct. 21 in San Diego, CA.
