Women's Hoops Hosts The Seattle Redhawks On Friday At 2 PM

Game Notes - Seattle vs. UC Riverside
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team will complete its three-game season-opening homestand on Friday, November 19 against the Seattle Redhawks at 2:00 pm at the Student Recreation Center.
Fans who are unable to attend the game may follow all of the action as the Voice of the Highlanders, Ghizal Hasan, brings the call from courtside to gohighlanders.com. Fans may also follow the game via LiveStats.
The defending Big West Conference Tournament champions enter the game with a 1-1 record, tied for the best start in the Division I history of the program. Brittany Waddell currently paces the squad with 12.5 points per game, while Alyssa Morris is averaging 11.0 points and a team-best 6.0 rebounds.
The Redhawks enter Friday’s contest with an 0-2 record, having lost games to common Big West opponents Cal Poly and Cal State Fullerton. Salena Dickerson leads three Seattle players in double-figures with 12.5 points per game.
Friday's meeting is the first between the teams in program history.
