Women's Basketball Begins Four-Game Road Swing At Washington Sunday

Game Notes - UC Riverside at Washington
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team embarks on a four-game cross-country road trip beginning with a 2:00 pm PST contest at Washington on Sunday, December 12. The trip continues with a December 14 game at Oregon, a December 18 game at Miami (FL), and a December 21 game at Missouri.

The 2010 Big West Conference champions enter Sunday’s game with a 4-2 record, the best ever start in the Division I history of the program.
Brittany Waddell paces a balanced UCR offensive attack averaging 10.3 points per game while three others players currently average 7.2 or more points.
UCR will face off against the Huskies for the first time in program history. The Highlanders are 4-19 overall against Pac-10 teams, including a loss this season to Arizona State on Nov. 14. Their last win against a team from the Pac-10 came against Arizona in a 65-53 victory on Dec. 23, 2009.
