McCullough Earns Lone Point For Highlanders In 6-1 Loss To Aggies

Riverside, CA - The UC Riverside women's tennis team (2-7, 0-4) continued Big West Conference play on Sunday morning with a 6-1 loss to UC Davis at the SRC Tennis Complex.
The Highlanders duo of Taylor Raney and Natalie McKay at No. 3 doubles defeated Eades/Curry of UCD for a win, but the Aggies won the other two matches to earn the doubles point.
In singles play, Donna McCullough (pictured) defeated Herzyl Legaspi 6-7, 7-5, (10-6) at No. 3 for UCR's lone point of the match as UC Davis picked up victories in the five other singles matches for the 6-1 win.
The Highlanders take a break from competition for finals and return to action on Wednesday, Mar. 24 with a 2:00 pm match at UC Santa Cruz.
