Men's Tennis Drops 7-0 Decision To Pennsylvania

Riverside, CA - The UC Riverside men's tennis team played the first of four matches scheduled for this week on Monday afternoon, but were defeated 7-0 by Pennsylvania at the SRC Tennis Complex.

Penn began the match by sweeping the doubles matches to earn the first point, and proceeded to win all six singles matches for the victory.

At No. 1 singles, Quoc Doan pushed his match to three sets before eventually falling 6-2, 6-7 (10-3) to Eugene Brazdil. Ryan Stanbury (pictured) at the sixth singles position also took his match the extra frame, but could not pull it out as he lost 7-5, 5-7 (10-1).

The Highlanders return to action on on Wednesday, Mar. 10 with a 2:00 pm match against Gonzaga at the SRC Tennis Complex.
