Cal Poly Defeats Men's Tennis 6-1 In Big West Play

Riverside, CA - The UC Riverside men's tennis team (3-14, 0-3) returned to Big West Conference play on Sunday afternoon with a 6-1 loss to Cal Poly at the SRC Tennis Complex.

The Mustangs swept the doubles point and went on to win five of the six singles matches. John Park at No. 2 singles defeated Matt Fawcett 4-6, 6-3 (10-5) for the lone Highlanders point.

UC Riverside heads to Norcal for its final conference matches of the season at UC Davis and Pacific on Apr. 17 and 18 respectively.
