Loyola Marymount Tames Highlanders Men's Tennis 6-1

Los Angeles, CA - The UC Riverside men's tennis team (3-12) lost a 6-1 non-conference match at Loyola Marymount on Tuesday afternoon at the LMU Tennis Center.

The Lions swept the doubles point by taking all three matches and proceeded to win five of the six in singles play.

Austin Andres (pictured) earned the lone point for the Highlanders as he defeated Borja Malet 7-6, 7-5 at No. 3 singles.

The Highlanders continue play with a match at San Diego State at 10:00 am on Friday, Apr. 9 in San Diego, CA.
