Andres/Conroy Upset #76 Doubles Team In Nation As UCR Falls 7-0 At SDSU

San Diego, CA - The UC Riverside men's tennis team traveled to San Diego on Friday morning for a match at No. 75 ranked San Diego State, but the Aztecs proved their national ranking with a 7-0 sweep of the Highlanders.
In doubles action, the Aztecs came up with the point as they won matches at Nos. 1 and 3. At No. 2 doubles, however, UCR's duo of Austin Andres and Mike Conroy (pictured) upset the #76 doubles team in the country with an 8-6 victory over Gomez/Rattenhuber.
In singles play, SDSU was too strong for the Highlanders as Conroy's match at No. 4 was the only match to go three sets.
UC Riverside hosts Cal Poly for its final home match of the season in Big West Conference action on Sunday, Apr. 11 at noon at the SRC Tennis Complex.
