Men's Tennis Drops 4-3 Decision To Northern Arizona

Phoenix, AZ - The UC Riverside men's tennis team hit the road to face Northern Arizona on Friday afternoon, but fell in a close 4-3 battle to the Lumberjacks.
Quoc Doan, Felix Macherez and Ryan Stanbury won their singles matches at Nos. 1, 2, and 4, but NAU won the other three for the split.
The deciding point came in the doubles matches, and after winning at the third spot (Griffin/Macherez def. Flodberg/Levinson), the Highlanders could not finish out the match as they lost 9-8 (10-8) at the top flight.
UC Riverside continues their road trip with a noon match at Arizona on Saturday, January 22 in Tucson, AZ.
