Women's Basketball Begins Five-Game Road Swing At Utah State Friday

The UC Riverside women’s basketball team begins the holiday season on a five-game road swing starting with a Friday, November 25 contest at Utah State. Tip against the Aggies is slated for 6:00 pm PST in Logan, UT.

The Highlanders bring a 1-4 record into Friday’s game, having most recently dropped a 59-56 decision to Louisiana on November 23 (highlight video). UCR’s lone win of the season was a 76-62 victory over CSU Bakersfield on November 19.

Tre’Shonti Nottingham paces the UC Riverside offense with 13.2 points per game with Natasha Hadley averaging 12.2 a game, and Jessica Ogunnorin 10.6 while grabbing a team-high 8.4 boards a game.

Utah State enters the game with a 4-1 record with wins over Wyoming, Weber State, fellow Big West opponent UC Irvine, and Boise State. Ashlee Brown leads the Aggies with 21.0 points per game and 10.2 rebounds a game.

The Highlanders own a 3-2 all-time record against Utah State, but have lost the last two straight to the Aggies.
