Women's Basketball Returns Home To Face Fresno State Wednesday At 7 PM

The UC Riverside women’s basketball team returns home to the Student Recreation Center on Wednesday, December 21 to take on the Fresno State Bulldogs with a 7:00 pm tip.
The Highlanders will play just their third home game of the season after playing eight of their first 10 contests on the road.
UCR brings a 2-8 record into the game, losing most recently 83-56 to No. 25 Gonzaga on December 17. Natasha Hadley paces the Highlanders offensively with 12.9 points per game with Tre’Shonti Nottingham averaging 12.6.
Fresno State is 9-3 in 2011-12 including an upset victory over then-No. 23 ranked Oklahoma on December 8. The Bulldogs are also a perfect 3-0 against Big West teams this season with wins over Cal Poly (79-76), Cal State Northridge (70-61), and Pacific (61-52).
Fresno State leads the overall series against the Highlanders 9-1, including winning the last eight straight.
