Women's Basketball Looks To Rebound At Long Beach State Thursday

Game Notes - UC Riverside at Long Beach State
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team is looking to bounce back from a 59-37 loss at UC Santa Barbara as they play Long Beach State on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 pm at The Pyramid.
The Highlanders have just six regular season games left on their docket, two at the Student Recreation Center and four on the road starting with the LBSU game.
Fans who are unable to attend the game may follow all of the action as the Voice of the Highlanders, Ghizal Hasan, brings the call from courtside to gohighlanders.com and to KPRO AM 1570. Fans may also follow the game via LiveStats.
The 49ers have won four of their last five Big West Conference games, and are led offensively by Courtney Jacob and Brandi Henton, who average 14.4 and 13.0 points per game respectively.
The Highlanders boast three players in double figure scoring led by Alyssa Morris’ 12.4, Tre’Shonti Nottingham’s 12.2, and Brittany Waddell’s 11.0.
UC Riverside owns the all-time series record against the Beach 13-10, but the 49ers have won each of the last two meetings.
