Men's Tennis Drops 7-0 Match To Oregon

Riverside, CA - The UC Riverside men's tennis team hosted the Pac-10's University of Oregon on Friday morning at Andulka Park, but fell 7-0 to the Ducks.

Oregon swept the doubles matches to open the contest and proceeded to win all six in singles action.

The closest match of the day came at No. 4, and after losing the first set 6-2, Ryan Stanbury rallied back in set two to win 6-1, but could not finish out the match falling 6-3 in the third.

The Highlanders now have two weeks off before opening Big West play at Cal Poly on Saturday, March 5 at 1:00 pm.
