Men's Tennis Drops 7-0 Match At #55 Cal Poly To Open League Play

San Luis Obispo, CA - The UC Riverside men's tennis team opened Big West play on Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 loss at No. 55 ranked Cal Poly.
The Highlanders played close to the Mustangs in doubles matches as Michael Conroy and Quoc Doan lost their match 8-6 to the No. 41 ranked duo in the country. UCR lost the matches at Nos. 2 and 3 by identical 8-4 scores.
In singles play, Cal Poly proved their national ranking by sweeping UCR in straight sets.
The Highlanders continue Big West play with a noon match at UC Santa Barbara on Sunday, March 6.
