Men's Tennis Loses Second Straight League Match 7-0 At UC Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara, CA - The UC Riverside men's tennis team lost its second straight Big West Conference match in as many days, falling 7-0 at UC Santa Barbara.
UCR's duo of Kevin Griffin and Ryan Stanbury defeated Therp and Jurgensen 8-6 at No. 3 doubles, but the Highlanders lost matches at the top two flights to drop the doubles point.
In singles action, Quoc Doan took his match to the limit at No. 1 singles before retiring due to injury 7-5, 6-6. Each of the five remaining matches went in favor of the Gauchos in straight sets.
The Highlanders return to the SRC Tennis Courts in Riverside to host Gonaga on Thursday, March 10 at 2:00 pm.
