No. 35 Ranked UNLV Sweeps UC Riverside Women's Tennis 7-0

Las Vegas, NV - The UC Riverside women's tennis team lost its second match in as many days falling 7-0 to No. 35 ranked UNLV on Sunday afternoon.

UCR's sister duo of Taylor and Jamie Raney made their doubles match a close one, but could not come out on top at No. 1 dropping the match 8-6.

In singles action, four of the second sets were close at 7-5 or 7-6, but the Rebels proved their national ranking with victories in all of them.

UC Riverside opens Big West play with a match at Long Beach State on Friday, February 25 at 2:00 pm in Long Beach, CA.
