Women's Tennis Drops League Opener 5-0 In Rain Shortened Match

Long Beach, CA - The UC Riverside women's tennis team opened Big West Conference play on Friday afternoon with a 5-0 loss at Long Beach State in a rain-shortened match.

The 49ers won five of the six singles matches, while the sixth match was suspended due to rain. Doubles were not played due to the inclement weather.

The Highlanders continue Big West play with an 11:00 am match this Sunday, February 27 in Riverside, CA.
