Game Notes - UC Riverside vs. Long Beach State
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team will honor its five members of the class of 2011 as the team plays its final regular season home game on Wednesday, March 2 at 4:30 pm against Long Beach State. The Highlanders will look to win a season-best four games in a row while avenging an earlier 70-68 overtime loss to the 49ers from February 17.

Since defeating UCR on Feb. 17, Long Beach State has dropped its last two Big West games. Courtney Jacob and Brandi Henton pace the 49ers offense averaging 14.4 and 12.7 points per game respectively.
UC Riverside boasts four players in double figure scoring led by Tre’Shonti Nottingham’s 13.0 ppg.
The Highlanders have clinched a home court berth in the first round of the 2011 ampm Big West Basketball tournament on March 8, but could still finish anywhere from second through fourth in the standings.
