Women's Tennis Wins Second Straight With 7-0 Victory Against Occidental

Riverside, CA - The UC Riverside women's tennis team won its second straight match in as many days on Saturday morning with a 7-0 sweep of Occidental at the SRC Tennis Courts.

The Highlanders (2-1) began the day winning the doubles point with 8-1 and 8-0 victories at Nos. 1 and 2, and an 8-6 win at No. 3.

In singles action, Nadia Sakhakorn never lost a point as she defeated Jessica Go in straight sets at No. 2. Each of UCR's matches never went to a third set as they won all six to complete the sweep.

The Highlanders next play at CSU Bakersfield on Saturday, February 12 at 1:00 pm in Bakersfield, CA.
