Doan Wins Lone Point For Men's Tennis In 6-1 Loss To Loyola Marymount

Riverside, CA - The UC Riverside men's tennis team lost a 6-1 decision to Loyola Marymount on Sunday in a match that was postponed from Friday due to rain.
In doubles action, the Lions won by slim margins at Nos. 1 and 2, with identical 8-6 victories.
In singles play, Quoc Doan defeated Aris Andreasian 6-2, 4-6 (11-9) at No. 1 for the lone point for the Highlanders. Felix Macherez and Austin Andres saw their matches go past two sets, but both ultimately fell at Nos. 2 and 4 respectively.
The Highlanders return to Big West Conference play with a Saturday, April 16 match against Pacific at 12:00 pm at the SRC Tennis Courts in Riverside.
