Riverside, CA—The UC Riverside cross country teams hosted thier annual Invitational on Saturday morning at the UCR Ag/Ops Course, and the Highlanders women finished in fourth place out of 20 squads in the 6k race.
Katy Daly led the Highlanders team with a seventh place finish, running the race in 20:56.5.
Jasmin Pina finished second for UCR placing 11th overall in 21:04.8. Jzsanette LIndstrom was third for the team running in 21:21.4 to finish 21st.
Raquel Hefflin, Damajeria DuBose and Alisha Brown finished 46th, 50th and 52nd respectively, while Brittany Reimer was right behind finishing in 57th place.
Rounding out the squad was Camila Alvarez in 80th place in 22:33.7
Loyola Marymount won the women's race with 65 points, followed closely by UC Santa Barbara with 69 points. Southern Utah was third with 87 points while the Highlanders finished fourth with 121 points.
LMU's Tara Erdmann won the 6k race in 20:01.9.
Next up for UC Riverside is the Bill Dellinger Invitational in Eugene, OR on October 1.
