UCR Men's Tennis Opens Season With 6-1 Loss To Nevada

Riverside, CA - The UC Riverside men's tennis team opened the 2012 season on Wednesday afternoon with a 6-1 loss to Nevada at the SRC Tennis Courts.
Each of the doubles matches were close, but the Wolfpack edged the Highlanders 8-5, 8-5, and 8-6 respectively.
In singles action, UCR's Austin Andres picked up the lone point as he defeated Quentin Merge 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 3 spot.
The Highlanders return to the courts at San Diego State for a 4:00 pm match on Sunday, January 22 in San Diego, CA.
