UC Riverside Men's Tennis Swept 7-0 By San Diego State

San Diego, CA—The UC Riverside men's tennis team continued its season-opening weekend on Sunday afternoon with a 7-0 loss at San Diego State.
The Highlanders were swept in the doubles point, and dropped five of six singles matches in two sets. Jimmy Roberts at No. 2 won his first set 6-2 before falling 6-4 in the second set, and ultimately dropping the tiebreaker 10-0 to Thorsten Bertsch.
UC Riverside now has a week off before hosting Northern Arizona on Sunday, January 29 for a 12:00 pm match at the SRC Tennis Courts in Riverside.
