UC Riverside Women's Basketball Hosts Cal Poly On Saturday At 3 PM

The UC Riverside women’s basketball team continues Big West Conference play on Saturday, February 18 by hosting the Cal Poly Mustangs for a 3:00 pm tip at the Student Recreation Center.
The Highlanders are averaging just 45.0 points per game over their last three games—all losses—and sit at 3-10 in league play, a half game ahead of 2-10 Cal State Fullerton.
The Mustangs bring an 8-3 record into Saturday’s game, and sit in second place in the conference standings. Cal Poly has won six consecutive games, and nine of their last 12, while averaging a league-best 72.9 points per game. Kristina Santiago continues to pace the conference averaging 22.0 points and 9.9 rebounds a game.
The Mustangs defeated the Highlanders 71-43 in the first meeting of the year back on January 12, but UC Riverside owns the all-time series record, 32-27.
