McKay Wins At No. 4 Singles But UCR Women's Tennis Falls 6-1 To LMU

Riverside, CA—The UC Riverside women's tennis team returned to the SRC Tennis Courts on Thursday afternoon with a 6-1 loss to Loyola Marymount.
The Highlanders duo of Jamie and Taylor Raney won their match at No. 1 doubles, 8-4, but the Lions won matches at Nos. 2 and 3 to claim the first point.
In singles action, Natalie McKay proved victorious at No. 4, defeating Miya Jin 6-3, 6-3. Each of other matches went in straight sets in favor of LMU as they earned the 6-1 win.
UC Riverside gets back to Big West play with a Saturday, February 25 match at Cal State Northridge beginning at 1:00 pm in Northridge, CA.
