UCR Women's Tennis Blanked By Cal State Northridge, 7-0

Northridge, CA—The Highlanders women's tennis team got back to Big West play on Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 blanking by Cal State Northridge.

UC Riverside lost its doubles matches at Nos. 1 and 2 by the slimmest of margins, 9-7, as the Matadors took the first point of the match.

In singles play, one UCR match went into the tiebreaker with Natalie McKay at No. 4, but CSUN came out on top in all six of the matches, securing the sweep.

The Highlanders have a week off before traveling to CSU Bakersfield on Friday, March 2 for a 2:00 pm match in Bakersfield, CA.
