UNLV Wins 4-0, Utah State Earns 5-1 Win Over Women's Tennis

Las Vegas, NV—The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team had its make-up match at UNLV Saturday afternoon, falling 4-0 to the Rebels. Later that day, the Highlanders dropped a 5-1 decision to Utah State at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
Friday's match vs UNLV was postponed due to rain, and in order to get in all the matches matches on Saturday, the teams' decided to play singles first and stop once a team reached four points.
The Rebels earned victories at numbers two, three, five, and six, with matches at numbers one and four going unfinished.
Against Utah State in the afternoon, Courtney Pattugalan earned the lone point for the UCR at number four singles, winning 6-2, 6-7, 1-0 (10-7). The Aggies won in the other five matches to seal the win, and doubles was not played in order to finish the match in time.
The Highlanders now break for finals and return to action on April 5 at Pacific.
