San Diego, CA—Two members of the UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team, Chloe Pham and Courtney Pattugalan, will compete in the 2014 ITA Southwest Regional Championship beginning on Thursday, October 16.

The tournament consists of singles and doubles action with individuals and teams from the region, with the winners advancing into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, held November 6-9 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, NY. 

UCR's duo will combine in doubles to play San Diego State's Paola/Hailey at 8:30 am PT Thursday.

In singles, Pham will play Long Beach State's Laura Eales on Thursday at 9:45 am in the round of 128, while Pattugalan has a bye into the round of 64 where she will play Drew Spinosa from San Diego at 11:45 am Thursday.
