Women's Tennis Welcomes LMU, Southern Utah For Non-Conference Matches This Week

Riverside, CA—The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team welcomes a pair of non-conference opponents to the Inland Empire this weekend hosting Loyola Marymount on Friday, February 21, and Southern Utah on Sunday, February 23. Friday's match is scheduled to begin at 1 pm PT, while Sunday's contest will go off at noon. Both matches are to be played at Andulka Park in Riverside.
The Highlanders opened the Big West Conference portion of their schedule last week dropping 7-0 contests at Cal State Northridge and to UC Davis.
The Lions are 3-4 this season, having won their last two straight. LMU plays against UC Irvine on Wednesday before heading to the IE.
The Thunderbirds have yet to play a match in 2014, but get their season underway Thursday at Dixie State. SUU then travels to Cal State Fullerton Saturday before facing UC Riverside Sunday.
