Northridge—The UC Riverside Women's Basketball Team has just one game this week traveling to Cal State Northridge on Saturday, March 1 for a 4 pm PT tip at the Matadome. The Highlanders are currently ninth in the league with the top eight teams reaching the Big West Tournament.
UC Riverside had its two-game winning streak stopped this past Saturday with an 83-72 loss to Cal Poly (box score/recap). The Mustangs and Matadors are now tied atop the conference standings with identical 9-4 records.
Cal State Northridge will play Cal State Fullerton this Thursday, February 27 before hosting UCR. CSUN most recently dropped a 76-72 decision at UC Irvine on Saturday, following a three-game win streak in which the Matadors defeated their opponents by an average of 24.0 points.
