Volleyball Concludes Season-Opening Weekend Of Action With 3-0 Loss To UNLV

Las Vegas, NV - The UC Riverside Volleyball Team concluded its season-opening weekend of action at the UNLV Invitational Sunday afternoon with a 25-19, 25-15, and 25-11 loss to UNLV. Box Score
The Rebels (3-2) led wire-to-wire in each of the sets, defeating the Highlanders for the second time in two days.
Fabiana Rosas led UCR (0-3) with nine kills while Ashley Cox added eight. Maddie Hubbell recorded 12 digs to lead all players.
UC Riverside remains on the road for its second tournament of 2014, traveling to the Southern Utah Invitational in Cedar City, UT on September 5-6.
