Honolulu, HI—The UC Riverside Women's Basketball Team heads to the Aloha State this weekend looking to even its Big West Conference record following a 70-61 loss at UC Davis on Thursday (

Brittany Crain scored 34 points in the loss to the Aggies, and in doing so, reached the 30-plus point plateau for the sixth time this season and the ninth time in her career. She ranked seventh in the nation in scoring entering the week.
The Highlanders welcomed back Annelise Ito to the lineup Thursday. The junior missed the previous four games with an injury, and scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds against UC Davis.
At 10-7 overall, UC Riverside is off to its best start since the 1997-98 season when the team won 12 of its first 17 games.
Hawai'i dropped its first two Big West games of the season last week falling 70-55 at Cal Poly and 53-46 at CSUN. The Rainbow Wahine lead the conference in scoring at 70.1 points per game, and boast three double-figure scorers in Shawna-Lei Kuehu (13.5), Morgan Mason (10.6) and Ashleigh Karaitiana (10.5). Kuehu, who is also Hawai'i's leading rebounder, sat out each of the team's last two games.
