Former Head Men's Soccer Coach Junior Gonzalez Named Assistant Coach For U.S. U-17 Men's National Team

Chicago—Former UC Riverside Head Men's Soccer Coach Junior Gonzalez was recently named an assistant coach to the United States Under-17 Men's National Team.
The head coach of the squad, Richie Williams, also recently unveiled the 21-player roster for the team which will represent the U.S. at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup which runs from October 17 through November 8 in Chile.
The United States is in Group A with host Chile, Croatia and Nigeria, and opens play on Saturday, October 17 at 1 pm PT in Santiago.
In addition to hs role with the U.S. U-17 National Team, Gonzalez also serves as the coach of the Seattle Sounders U-14 team.
