Women’s Golf To Take On CSU Bakersfield In Duel Match Sunday

Riverside, CA—The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team hosts CSU Bakersfield this Sunday, November 1 in an 18-hole duel match starting at 12 pm PT at Canyon Crest Country Club.

The Highlanders and Runners will play a head-to-head match play event instead of a traditional 5-count-4 format. UCR won five out of seven matches as well as the three-way match in last year's competition.

Jakeishya Le (UCR) vs. Shannon Wong (CSUB)
Haley Wian (UCR) vs. Chandler Bullman (CSUB)
Julia Sander (UCR) vs. Ariel Lee (CSUB)
Tina Nagai (UCR) vs. Amy Cooper (CSUB)

Three-way match:
Krista Twet (UCR) vs. Jenni Chun (CSUB)
Jenni Chun (CSUB) vs. Yuri Ahn (UCR)
Yuri Ahn (UCR) vs. Krista Twet (UCR)

This event will conclude what has been a successful fall season, as the Highlanders have won two of the three tournaments they entered— the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic, and the Cal Poly Lady Mustang Invitational.

Admission is free for all spectators. Golf attire IS preferred.
