Women's Tennis Falls to Hawai'i Pacific, 6-1 Despite Singles and Doubles Victories

Honolulu, HI—The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team fell to Hawai'i Pacific 6-1 in its first of two matches in Hawai'i Friday afternoon.

UCR wasn't without victory on the day with doubles partners Natalie Penner and Tamilla Vaksman winning their match against Vivian Hansen and Sofia Tavitian, 6-4. Kassie Troung took control in the No. 6 slot, taking her singles match against Sofia Tavitian in three sets, 1-6, 6-2, and 6-2.

The Highlanders move to 1-4 on the season as will take on Hawai'i Saturday, Feb. 7 at 2 pm PT.
