Savannah Vilaubi In Third Place After Day One Of The Big West Championship

Riverside— The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team finishes day one of the Big West Championship in fourth place Sunday afternoon (live stats).

The Highlanders fired a team total 299 after one round of competition. UC Riverside is just six strokes behind third place Cal Poly and is ahead of fifth place Long Beach State by five.

Three Highlanders finished in the top-20 today that includes senior Savannah Vilaubi who finished out today one under par, shooting a 71, three strokes behind individual leader Blair Lewis from UC Davis. Rounding out the top-three finishers for the blue and gold was Haley Wian and Hannah Facchini firing a 75 and 76, respectively.

The Highlanders are back in action for day two Monday, April 20 starting at 8 am PT.
