Men's Tennis To Battle Cal Poly In Big West Championship First Round

Indian Wells—The No. 5 seeded UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team is set to play the #4 seeded Cal Poly Mustangs on Thursday, April 23 in the first round of the Big West Conference Championship at Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The match gets underway at 9 am PT.

The winner of the match will move on to play #1 seed UC Irvine in the semifinals on Friday, April 24 at 3 pm. The Big West Championship finals match is slated for Sunday, April 26 at 9 am.

Cal Poly, the 2014 defending Big West Tournament Champions, earned a 4-0 victory over the Highlanders back on April 4 when these teams met in the regular season (recap).
